An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly ordained rabbi fall in love; discovering if their relationship will survive their wildly different lives and family interference.. Originally titled "Shiksa", which is also the last word spoken in the first episode.. I was so excited for this one! Some of the dialogue and parts of the story, especially in the first episode, missed the mark. A few minutes later I was thinking is this going to be crap? Well, I stuck with it and ended up REALLY enjoying it. The love story was passionate and they definitely had chemistry. And that first kiss. WOOFT. I think I got pregnant too. Also, many laugh out loud at funny moments. 100% my sense of humor. Is he an Oscar winner? Probably not. Will people be offended? Absolutely. But it’s a feel-good story that was a light binge with likable characters. Can’t wait for season 2.
